The Bottle Situation: Washing, Drying, and Not Losing Parts

Nobody warned me that the bottles would be a whole part-time job. Not the feeding, the aftermath. Little rings, little valves, tiny nipples that go missing and turn up in the dish rack two days later. Here is what finally made the sink corner make sense.

Dr. Brown’s Drying Tower Stand-Up Drying Rack

It goes up instead of out, which on a small counter is the entire argument. The pegs come apart for washing and there is a spot for the small pieces so they stop rolling into the sink.

Boon Cacti Bottle Cleaning Brush Set

The nipple brush is the one I actually needed and did not know to buy. The set stands up on its own, drains instead of sitting in a puddle, and honestly looks fine left out on the counter.

Grownsy Compact Baby Bottle Sterilizer and Dryer

I held out on this for months thinking it was excessive. It is not. Wash, load, walk away, and they come out dry so you are not stacking damp bottles at eleven at night. It fits pump parts too.

Dapple Baby Fragrance Free Bottle and Dish Soap, 3 Pack

Regular dish soap left a smell she noticed and I did not. This cuts the milk film, rinses clean, and there is no perfume fighting with the bottle. Buying three at once means I stop running out.

OXO Tot Dishwasher Basket for Bottle Parts

This is the one that ended the lost-parts era. Everything small goes in, the lid latches, the dishwasher does its thing, and nothing ends up melted on the heating element. Wish I had started here.
